What the web desk does

The web desk runs in your browser after you sign in. It is a lighter preview of the Windows app, saved to your Vesper account so it is the same on any computer.

  1. Step 1:

    Sign in on the desk page.

  2. Step 2:

    Type a channel in Add channel… (Twitch or Kick name, or a YouTube video link) and press Enter.

  3. Step 3:

    Arrange tiles with Change layout: presets 1, 1×2, 2×2, 1+3, or Save layout to keep your own.

  4. Step 4:

    Switch between Standard, Focus and Performance, and open the Chat blade for Twitch chat.

  5. Step 5:

    Open Menu → Settings for the theme, Show stream controls on hover and Allow desk scrolling.

Twitch chat in the browser is Twitch's own chat window: to send messages you need to be signed in to twitch.tv in the same browser. Browsers that block third-party cookies show it read-only.

Windows app only

See-through mode, Lock window, pop-out windows and Dock back, hotkeys, Hover to expand toolbar, Pin toolbar, Discord presence, Send to OBS and the Support stats need the Windows app, because a browser tab cannot control its own window. Download the app for the full desk.
