Disclaimers

An independent app

Vesper Desk is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twitch, Kick, YouTube, Discord, OBS Studio or any other platform it works with. Their names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to say which services Vesper Desk works with.

Streams and chat belong to the platforms and creators

Streams, chat, emotes, badges and channel details come from each platform's own player and API. Vesper Desk shows them inside its window; it does not record, download, store or rehost them. That content stays under the platform's terms and its creators' rights, and your use of a platform through Vesper Desk is governed by that platform's terms of service.

Optional emote sets (BTTV, FrankerFaceZ, 7TV), live alerts and Discover use those services' public APIs and can change or stop working when they do.

Features where you decide what is shown

• See-through mode keeps the window on top and lets your desktop show between tiles. Anything open behind it can be visible, so check before you share or record your screen.
• Send to OBS adds a stream or chat to your own OBS scene. Rebroadcasting another creator's stream without permission can break platform rules and copyright law; you are responsible for having the rights to what you broadcast.
• Discord presence shows your activity on your Discord profile. With "Sharing with channel names" it also shows the channel you are watching, to anyone who can see your profile.

Beta

Vesper Desk is in beta. Features, plans and limits can change, and something may break between updates. While the beta is open, accounts get the Beta plan; when it ends, Beta accounts move to Free.

Payments

Paid plans and gifts are sold through Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record, which handles payment, tax and invoices under its own terms. Until paid plans launch, checkout runs in test mode and no real payment is taken. Prices shown during the beta can change before launch.

Refer a friend

A friend counts once they sign up with your link, confirm their email and use Vesper Desk on Windows on two different days. Rewards wait while the beta is open. The 1,000 and 10,000 friend rewards are reviewed by hand before they are given and can be declined. Self-referrals, fake or duplicate accounts and other abuse void referrals and rewards, and the programme can change or end. Rewards have no cash value.

Downloads

Release builds are code-signed. Windows SmartScreen can still show a warning for a new release until it builds reputation; download Vesper Desk only from this site or its GitHub releases.

Screenshots and videos

Promotional and How-To media show demo footage in place of live streams, for example Sintel (© Blender Foundation, durian.blender.org, CC BY 3.0), with made-up channel names and chat.

No warranty

Vesper Desk is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows. The Terms of Service have the full wording, and the Privacy Policy explains what data we keep.
