Account and cloud sync

Sign in to Vesper, and keep your settings and layouts in step across PCs on a paid plan.

Sign in to Vesper

  1. Step 1:

    Open the ☰ Account menu and choose Sign in to Vesper.

  2. Step 2:

    Your browser opens the Vesper sign-in page. Sign in or create an account.

  3. Step 3:

    Go back to the desk; it shows your account in Settings → Profile.

Signing in unlocks Kick and YouTube in Discover and Kick chat. You can watch any platform without an account.

Turn on cloud sync

Cloud sync is off by default and turned on per PC. It needs a paid plan (or the open beta) and a signed-in Vesper account.

  1. Step 1:

    Open Settings → Profile.

  2. Step 2:

    Turn on Sync this desk with my Vesper account.

  3. Step 3:

    Do the same on your other PC.

Sync carries settings, hotkeys, templates, saved desktops and saved channels. Never sign-ins, your background image or this PC's engine settings.

When the PCs disagree

If this PC and the cloud both changed, the desk asks you instead of guessing.

  1. Step 1:

    Choose Keep this device to send this PC's desk to the cloud.

  2. Step 2:

    Or choose Keep cloud to replace this PC's desk with the cloud copy.
